Policies

The purpose of this charter is to have fun and catch fish.  There are some rules, however, that are set in place to avoid confusion and ensure the safety of all parties while on the boat.  Please see the below terms, conditions, and important information.

  1. The authority is that of the captain while boat is under operation.  In the event of unacceptable conduct by parties on-board, the captain reserves the authority to terminate the charter.

  2. No illegal substances are permitted on board. Not adhering to this may cause cancellation of charter where no refund will be issued.

  3. If you wish to bring beer or wine, we ask that you do not bring any hard liquor or glass. Please do not show up intoxicated. ~If you or any of your party shows up intoxicated, your trip will be rescheduled to another day, pending availability. If there is excessive drinking during the trip and it becomes a problem, the remaining time of charter will be canceled with no refunds.

  4. In the event of weather interfering with reserved charter - the date will be rescheduled for another available date, or a refund will be issued.  If the charter is forced to end early due to weather, a partial credit for remaining time will be issued, however, no refund will be issued if parties on-board agree to leave dock after weather advisory has been disclosed regardless of amount of time on the water.

  5. Cancellations/Rescheduling prior to fishing trip must be made no later than 72 hrs before scheduled trip.  A credit will be issued for future charter date.  If unable to reschedule within fishing season, either a refund will be issued, or selection date held for next season may be secured.

  6. Please plan for issues with seasickness, as no refund will be issued if parties ask to cancel trip due to this. Medications such as BONINE and DRAMAMINE are available for this syndrome and may be most effective when taken the night before AND the morning of the charter.

  7. Please bring your own food/beverage.  Food and beverages are not provided by Captain/First Mate.

  8. Fish Cleaning IS included.  The captain will fillet the catch on the boat and put them in Ziploc bags to take home.  The captain does NOT debone the fish, but can explain an easy method of doing so.   Please have adequate storage for trip home such as a cooler.

  9. Please be on time for charter.  Scheduling is set for accommodating ½ day and full day charters.  If you are running late, time on the water will be shortened with no refund for this allotted period.

  10. If more than one party is contributing towards cost of Charter and does not show, the responsibility will fall on other parties to cover balance owed.  This does not reflect any doings of the Captain/First Mate and should be considered beforehand.

  11. The boat DOES have a toilet facility available for use.

  12. Tips are customary. Generally, a tip 10% to 20% of the total Charter price is feasible.

  13. By booking a charter, permission is granted to use photos taken as part of advertising

  14. While we come to catch fish, there is never a guarantee of how many or what type of fish your party will catch.  The captain guarantees to put forth EVERY EFFORT POSSIBLE to not only have a satisfied party, but a prosperous day on the water with the catch.  It is recommended that the party follow suggestions by Captain/First Mate to maximize the likelihood of catching fish, especially once on the hook.

  15. All tackle and gear are provided by the Captain, you do NOT need to bring your own.  All equipment is maintained properly and replaced with the slightest signs of wear and tear, especially our lines.  If you wish to bring your own equipment, please discuss while booking charter.

  16. Please do NOT throw trash or any other material overboard.  Trash bins will be designated on the boat for proper disposal.

  17. Children are welcome aboard.  There is nothing better than seeing our youth interested in fishing.  Please note ANY child aged 12 or under is required to wear a personal flotation device that is approved by the COAST GUARD.  This must be worn at all times to ensure proper safety.  If you bring your own suitable life jacket, it MUST be Coast Guard approved.

If you have questions, please feel free to ask the Captain.
